2013 NBA Playoff Predictions Warriors vs Nuggets Game 6 – Will the Nuggets Play Dirty Again?

Get ready for an intense matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets tonight. It’s Game 6, but this one will feel like a no-holds-barred Game 7 nail-biter. It all has to do with Denver’s win over Golden State the other night and how the Nuggets played.

2013 NBA Playoff PredictionsAccording to Golden State Warriors coach mark Jackson, the action on the floor was downright dirty, with the Nuggets squad taking cheap shots against Warriors’ star Stephen Curry.

Most fans and sportsbook betting enthusiasts agree. Many are arguing that the Warriors should have wrapped up the series, even though the final score wasn’t close at 107-100. But dirty play and unfair hits, like elbows to Curry’s chest in plays he wasn’t even involved in, made the game feel more like an episode of the Sopranos and less like a basketball game. Some are still talking about the ankle shot that Curry suffered—an incredibly cheap shot considering Curry has a strong (or weak, depending on how you look at things) history of ankle injures.

The Warriors, who lead the series 3-2, heads home tonight to take on the Nuggets. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of style of play the Warriors hit the hardwood with.

One thing is for sure—the Warriors were up their physical level for Game 6, and many are predicting that they’ll go after Andre Iguodala, who scored an impressive 25 points, grabbing 12 rebounds along the way. Wilson Chandler and Ty Lawson, both of whom dropped in 19 points apiece, could be big targets, too.

Golden State will likely do everything they can to clear the floor for Curry so he can net more points and stave off being a target. In Game 5, he only managed 15 points on 7 of 19 shooting.

Game Odds:
Denver Nuggets: +2 -110, ML +110
Golden State Warriors: -2 -110, ML -130
Totals: o/u 211.5, -110
