Thursday Night College Football Picks – Mississippi Rebels vs Mississippi State Bulldogs on ESPN

If the Mississippi State Bulldogs want to play in a bowl game this College Football Picks season they must  win Thursday’s home College Football Picks Game against the Mississippi Rebels. It is not going to be easy as the team will likely be down to third string quarterback Damian Williams for this contest. The freshman quarterback did score the game winning touchdown last week in a win over the Arkansas Razorbacks but he faces a much tougher test on Thursday against the Mississippi Rebels. Let’s look at the game and college football Picks.

College Football PicksMississippi State Bulldogs Quarterback Injuries- The starting quarterback for the Mississippi State Bulldogs is Dak Prescott but he is out for this game on Thursday. Head coach Dan Mullen said that Prescott might be able to play if the team gets to a bowl game. Prescott did not play in last week’s win over Arkansas and his backup, Tyler Russell left the game after hurting his shoulder. Russell had played pretty well completing 18 of 28 passes for 263 yards with two touchdowns. The team is now down to Damian Williams who scored the game winning touchdown.

Mississippi Rebels 7-4 SU, 6-5 ATS -The Ole Miss Rebels were rolling along until last week when they were dominated by the Missouri Tigers. That loss dropped them to 7-4 and took them out of any consideration for a top bowl game. Now the team has to get motivated to play this game on short rest on Thursday. It should help they are playing their rival and on ESPN.

Game Notes -The Rebels are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Thursday games. The Rebels are 4-13 ATS in their last 17 games in November. The Bulldogs are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 Thursday games. The Under is 8-3 in the Rebels last 11 road games. The Under is 5-1 in the Bulldogs last 6 games overall. The Under is 13-6 in the Bulldogs last 19 home games. The Under is 8-3 in the last 11 meetings.

College Football Picks I will make two plays in this one and take the Mississippi Rebels and the game under the total. Check out the college football odds for this game at BetDSI  sportsbook.
